Tara Choying Lhamo is a remarkable western dharma practitioner from Austria who has been living in retreat for more than twenty years. Twelve of those years she spent high in the mountains of Nepal in Lapchi, practicing in a former meditation cave of Milarepa – a renowned 11/12th century Tibetan Yogi. Tara is a long – time student of HH Chetsang Rinpoche and Garchen Rinpoche – Masters from the Drikung Kargyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
Tara agreed last year to speak publicly for the very first time and those who attended were deeply moved by her personal story of practice, meditation and retreat.
Tara has now agreed to come to Australia to share her story & understanding gained through personal experience of extensive meditation.
Kunsang Yeshe Centre is delighted to host an afternoon informal talk followed by a short meditation, and cordially invites everyone to attend and be inspired.
