Mindfulness and Ageing Well

Ageing affects all aspects of our life – our physical body, our habits of thoughts & emotions, and our relationships with people and environment. Bringing the quality of mindfulness into this journey can illuminate some dark areas, lighten the load along the way, and even enlighten us to our true nature. In this workshop we can explore together through guided meditations and discussions how cultivation of mindfulness can positively impact our ageing journey.

Teacher: Wai Cheong Kok                                   

Wai Cheong Kok has been teaching meditation and Buddhism since 1996, with a special interest in making available the benefits of meditation to a wider audience. He completed the first 7-year Masters program in Advanced Buddhist Studies of Sutra and Tantra at Istituto Lama Tsong Khapa in Italy in 2004. From 2006-2014, he served as a senior resident teacher at Vajrayana Institute. In early 2016 Wai Cheong returned to work in Singapore but is back in Australia for a short visit and to share his expertise once again with students.
