Finding Your Voice is a program that has been developed for people who want to explore and fully use their voices. It is about the authentic voice and whether you are making full use of the quality, range and personality that your voice can bring to your everyday life.

This workshop aims to give you the confidence to represent yourself in any situation – particularly public speaking.

The program includes:

  • diaphragmatic breathing
  • resonance
  • projection
  • public speaking
  • performance anxiety
  • communication
  • clear speech
  • chanting
  • sounding

Please bring a yoga mat or a beach towel for the workshop.

Course Contribution: $50/40 members & concession includes lunch & refreshments

Course Facilitator: Maureen Williams (A.Mus.A, Grad. Dip. Counselling & Communication, Sound Therapist) brings to the program over 40 years experience as a singing student, teacher, public speaker and performer. She has performed in opera, musical comedy and on ABC radio and TV. She has run many sound and music therapy workshops and has worked as a counsellor with people in trauma (including post‐operative voice complications, stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, aged‐care and children with disabilities).
