9:00 am - 10:30 am
Well…it may not be that simple but a literal walk in the park is a good place to start the journey. Join us for a gentle walking meditation taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the magnificent Blue Mountains bushland. Expand your mind gazing over the splendid views of Grose Valley, Blackheath. Share a cuppa and a snack as we ponder the big and small questions of life, harmony and well-being.
Wednesday 10 November – 9am – 10.30am
Where: Fairfax Heritage Walking Track (Govetts Leap Lookout Carpark Blackheath)
WET WEATHER PLAN
* Good weather: we go ahead as planned.
* Light drizzle: we go ahead with walk, maybe a cuppa under shelter at lookout or maybe adjourn to Victory Cafe Blackheath for cuppa/conversation.
* Heavy rain: indoor meditation & conversation at Clara’s, at: 131A Hathill Rd, Blackheath. Everyone still bring a thermos & snacks.
NB: This a gentle, paved walking track suitable for wheelchairs that leads to a wonderful look-out. There are tables and toilet facilities. Bring along a thermos of hot or cold drink for yourself and some healthy snacks to share with each other (fruit/nuts/biscuits/slices). Make sure you bring a small backpack or an over the shoulder bag to carry your belongings and to leave your hands unencumbered.
