Maitreya and Yellow Tara Statues
Lama Zopa Rinpoche has advised the Centre to purchase 2 large statues to help us achieve success in our endeavours and to eliminate poverty – both financially and resources. These will be very large statues – 3 times and twice life-size respectively – and we are currently sourcing quotes from Mongolia and Nepal, home to the artisans experienced in building such magnificent statues. More details and sponsorship opportunities coming soon.
The Yellow Tara statue will be the first of these. We’ve commissioned Bertrand Cayla, a French sculptor, for the project. The statue has arrived at Kunsang Yeshe Centre and we are currently gathering the resources so we can assemble and install it.

Supporting Nuns and Monks
Monastics value the generosity and support of the community and it is always meritorious to make small practical offerings to support our nuns at any time. There’s a marked Donation Box inside the front door where you can leave your offerings. Practical suggestions include soap, herbal toothpaste, maroon or brown socks, supermarket or store gift vouchers, chocolate, biscuits, rice, fresh fruit & veggies.
Everything is always greatly appreciated.
A Donation Tin for small money offerings shared between the nuns is also located there.
Supporting Sangha is an excellent way to show appreciation & support, and as a by-product gather lots of virtuous karma for yourself!
Donations assist the Centre to provide low cost teachings, meditations and workshops. As a non-profit organisation, we rely on donations, fundraising and volunteers to operate our Centre. If you would like to make a financial offering, here are the details.
