We look for happiness in money and material possessions, gratifying the senses, basking in praise and approval. When we don’t get what we want or it proves less satisfying than we hoped, disappointment sets in. When we do get what we wish for, fear of losing it again undermines our enjoyment.
Venerable Tsultrim will show us ways to move towards the tranquil harbour of genuine happiness and contentment by changing our focus from what we can get from the world to what we bring to it.

Teacher: Venerable Tsultrim is well known to our community, having already presented a number of talks and workshops here. She brings together her long experience as a Buddhist practitioner and nun with her professional expertise as a counsellor to offer practical and insightful ways of helping ourselves and thereby benefiting those around us.
