The four immeasurable attitudes of love, compassion, joy & equanimity counter distortions in relationship to ourselves, deepening our relationships with others. They are “immeasurable” because we generate these four states of mind toward an immeasurable number of sentient beings. As ways of thinking that open our hearts, they are the forerunners of Bodhicitta, the altruistic intention that seeks enlightenment in order to benefit all beings most effectively.

Teacher: Bhikshuni Lozang Yönten was ordained in 2003. She completed the Buddhist Studies Program at Chenrezig Institute in 2009 then continued to study, retreat and offer service at Dharma Centres in India and Taiwan as well as Australia and New Zealand, becoming an FPMT in-depth registered teacher.
Ven. Yönten was the Resident Teacher of Kunsang Yeshe Retreat Centre from 2011 – 2014 and we are always delighted to welcome her back whenever her work as an FPMT touring teacher and retreat leader allows. She is known for her fresh, modern approach and warm, engaging teaching style as well as her depth of knowledge and understanding. More…
Cost: Two days $90 (members & concession $80); single day $50/$45 Includes course materials, a light lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
