The idea of renunciation is one many of us find daunting to even consider, often because we misunderstand what it is to be given up. Find out what renunciation really means from a Buddhist perspective and why it can be the most compassionate thing you can do for yourself!
Teacher: Bhikshuni Lozang Yönten was ordained in 2003. She completed the Buddhist Studies Program at Chenrezig Institute in 2009 then continued to study, retreat and offer service at Dharma Centres in India and Taiwan as well as Australia and New Zealand, becoming an FPMT in-depth registered teacher.
Ven. Yönten was the Resident Teacher of Kunsang Yeshe Retreat Centre from 2011 – 2014 and we are always delighted to welcome her back whenever her work as an FPMT touring teacher and retreat leader allows.
