We are delighted to confirm that our much-loved teacher, Geshe Tenzin Zopa, will indeed be returning to Kunsang Yeshe in February and will be here from Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th.

Over these three days Geshe-la will begin to explore Shantideva’s classic text, The Bodhisattva’s Way of Life (Bodhicharyavatara), widely acclaimed and respected in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism.

“The Bodhicharyavatara is easy to understand and is revered wherever the Mahayana is studied and practised.  It explains the meaning of all Buddha’s teachings, in particular, all that needs to be practised by those wishing to train on the bodhisattvas’ vehicle, the six perfections. ” – Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Bendigo, 2018

“If we sincerely put the gist of these teachings into practice, we need have no hesitation about their effectiveness… It is not as if these teachings were useful at some time in the past but are no longer relevant in modern times. They remain pertinent today.” – H. H. Dalai Lama Foreword to 2006 Shambala Edition Padmakara

Opportunities to hear Geshe-la’s profound yet accessible teachings first hand are rare, so don’t miss out.

Please note that this is a non-residential event. View or download daily schedule

Everyone is invited to stay on and join us for Guru Puja on the Thursday evening, 5:30 – 7:30
