Supporting Sangha

Typically, monastics rely on the generosity and offerings of the community. It is always meritorious to make small practical offerings to support our nuns at any time.

Items such as a small offering of soap or toothpaste (eg: sensodyne or a herbal one), maroon or brown socks, small money offerings (in an envelope) or food (toasted muesli, biscuits, rice, fruit, veg and even chocolate), are always greatly appreciated.

Supporting Sangha is an excellent way in which we can show our appreciation, and also gather lots of good karma!

Volunteering

We’re always looking for volunteers, either to help at the various market stalls we hold around the Blue Mountains, or at the Centre itself. If you can spare a few hours and would like to help, please email the Centre on info @ kunsangyeshe.com.au or phone 02 4788 1407.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to support the centre and we very much appreciate it!

Volunteers are required all throughout the year. Contact the centre for more details.

Donations

Donations assist the Centre to provide low cost teachings, meditations and workshops. As a non-profit organisation, we rely on donations, fundraising and volunteers to operate our centre. If you would like to make a financial offering, here are the details.

School Building Fund

The Centre has now officially opened a new bank account known as the “School Building Fund” account. Its sole purpose is to collect donations towards the future purchase of a property and/or ongoing maintenance/renovations of Centre owned buildings.

This very specific use of the Fund is in accordance with Australian Law and the Fund will be managed by a committee separate (with separate members) to the current  Kunsang Yeshe Executive Committee. The members of the  Building Fund committee will be announced in coming weeks. In the meantime, the bank account is fully operational and waiting for your generous donations towards the Centre’s vision of owning a residential retreat centre in the Blue Mountains. Every dollar counts.

We do not yet have Deductible Gift Recipient status which allows your donations to be tax-deductible. We’re working on that application with Australian Tax Office. You may, however, be eligible to claim your donations through your own annual tax submissions. Check with your accountant or the tax dept.

Make your donation to:

Bendigo Bank

Enjoy the merit and delight of knowing you’re an integral member of creating the Centre’s Dharma Vision for the future; realising a residential retreat centre for the benefit of all.
